Chapter III of the history of the Dakar is now wide open.
This second edition in the Middle East next January promises to
new surprises, the Saudi territory has revealed only a small part of its mysteries!
The route we have prepared, a gigantic tour of the Saudi deserts, reuses none of the tracks and dunes that featured in the specials last January.
See you from the 3rd to the 15th of January to discover it.

Jeddah will host the start and the finish of the 2021 edition. Every single timed section of the loop course, which will include a rest day in Ha'il.
In the program : 1 prologue, 12 stages including 1 marathon stage.
The possibilities open to us have given us the opportunity to design a route a lot slower, more varied and more technical.

| Sporting Innovations : improve the safety! |
| The sporting teams in charge of preparing the 2021 edition of the rally have focused on fleshing out the new navigation system introduced last January and slowing down the vehicles to make the race even safer. |

| Provisionnal Regulations |
| The provisional regulations for the Dakar 2021 wil be published the second week of July on our website. |
|
| Competitors Offers |
The services set up during the Dakar 2020 are all renewed, including the fuel offered for all the vehicles in the race and the Dakar Experience, which enabled more than half of the abandoned vehicles to resume the race and continue their adventure. .
For the Dakar 2021, the new features are:
- Creation of an attractive rate for SSVs
- Reduction of the fee for the Rookies
- Optimization of the organization and planning in Jeddah

|
The launch of the Dakar Classic puts the sportlight on vehicles from the 1980s and 1990s in a test of consistency that honours the legend of the rally.
The vehicles will evolve on a course parallel to that of the Dakar with the same organizational standards
